Early Years Lecturer

Location: Greater Manchester

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 4-5 weeks

Hours: 4.5 days per week

Contract: Temporary

We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Lecturer to join a further education college in Greater Manchester on a temporary basis, starting ASAP.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Early Years lecturer or teacher to support learners during the new academic year.

The Role

As an Early Years Lecturer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective teaching to students studying Early Years-related programmes.

You will be expected to:

• Deliver high-quality Early Years teaching
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons and learning activities
• Support students with their academic progress and development
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work
• Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and learner engagement
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Work effectively with colleagues and curriculum staff

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone with:

• Strong subject knowledge and experience within Early Years
• Previous experience teaching or lecturing in an FE/college environment
• A relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above
• A recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent (desirable)
• Experience delivering Early Years programmes such as T Level, BTEC, CACHE or similar (desirable)
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A commitment to supporting learners and achieving positive outcomes
• A valid DBS, ideally registered on the Update Service
