Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and families affected by domestic abuse?
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Abuse Intervention Specialist to provide a high-quality, survivor-led service that prioritises safety, wellbeing, and empowerment.
As a Domestic Abuse Intervention Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering holistic support to victims and survivors of domestic abuse – as well as working proactively with perpetrators to help them recognise and change harmful behaviours.
You’ll conduct risk assessments, safety planning, and offer ongoing emotional and practical support. You’ll also engage children and young people who have witnessed abuse, ensuring they access appropriate therapeutic interventions.
The role also involves multi-agency collaboration with social care, police, health, and voluntary sector partners to ensure coordinated and effective responses for families.
We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment. You’ll need to demonstrate:
An IDVA qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable.
