Digital Communications & Website Manager – 6 month contract
Pay rate: £200-£250 per day via umbrella
Location: Glasgow or Edinburgh, hybrid working
Reporting to: Senior Digital Communications Manager
About the organisation:
SGN manages the network that distributes natural and green gas to approximately six million homes and businesses across Scotland and the south of England. Their primary responsibility is the safe and reliable delivery of energy through more than 44,000 miles of underground pipelines.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Digital Communications & Website Manager to lead the day-to-day management, maintenance, and development of SGN’s external websites. Reporting to the Senior Digital Communications Manager, this role is central to ensuring our digital platforms are secure, accessible, high-performing, and aligned with organisational objectives. The role also requires some duties around management and stewardship of their social media channels.
You will bring a strong blend of technical expertise, content governance knowledge, and stakeholder engagement skills. The role involves working collaboratively with teams across IT, Transformation, Customer Experience and Communications as well as with external agencies and suppliers.
