Job Title: Computing Lecturer

Location: Lancashire

Pay rate: £32 – 40 Pound per hour

About the Role / Job Summary:

Further Education College in Lancashire is seeking a dedicated Computing Lecturer to deliver high-quality education in Cyber and Programming specialisms. This role is vital in maintaining educational standards and supporting students in their learning journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging teaching and curriculum development in Further Education.

Key Responsibilities:

· Teaching Cyber security and Programming

· 2 roles available- (3 days a week and full time)

· Deliver engaging teaching across various computing programs.

· Support students in their learning journey and assess their progress.

· Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery.

· Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program development.

· Utilize specialist skills in Cyber and Programming.

Qualifications:

· Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).

· Experience in teaching computing-related subjects.

· Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools.

Education Requirements:

· Degree in Computing, IT, or a related field.

· Additional certifications in teaching or computing are advantageous.

Experience Requirements:

· Demonstrated experience in teaching at the Further Education level.

· Experience in designing and delivering engaging lessons.

· Familiarity with assessment methods and student evaluation.
