Job Title: Compliance Assistant

About the Role / Job Summary:

A respected organization in the housing sector is seeking a Compliance Assistant to support the delivery of health and safety compliance inspections and servicing activities. This role ensures adherence to statutory requirements and best practices across the housing stock. The role is a temporary role for around 10-12 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Compliance Officer in managing health and safety compliance inspections.
• Coordinate and deliver compliance services and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) inspections.
• Schedule, collate, scrutinize, and record servicing certification and PPM inspection data.
• Provide guidance on compliance with landlord health and safety legislation.
• Generate accurate reports on compliance activities.
• Manage compliance activities related to asbestos, electrical safety, fire safety, gas servicing, and more.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of health and safety compliance in the housing sector.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in data management and reporting.

Education Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in health and safety or a related field is preferred.
• Training in compliance management is advantageous.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience in a compliance or health and safety role within the housing sector is desirable.
• Familiarity with landlord health and safety legislation.
• Proven track record of managing compliance activities and reporting.
