Communication Support Worker, BSL Level 3 | East London
Help learners take part, share their ideas and make their voices heard.
Access to communication can make a real difference to a learner’s experience of education. From following a classroom discussion to asking questions confidently, your support can help learners participate fully in college life.
Morgan Hunt is seeking Communication Support Workers with BSL Level 3 or above for opportunities within further education in East London.
What you’ll bring to the classroom:
Communication support for Deaf and hard of hearing learners.
BSL skills to help learners access lessons and learning materials.
An approach that encourages participation, confidence and independence.
A willingness to work closely with teaching staff to remove barriers to learning.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
A recognised BSL Level 3 qualification or above.
Experience supporting Deaf or hard of hearing learners, ideally in education.
The ability to adapt your communication to individual needs.
A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one.
