Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer

Location: Hemel Hempstead

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum

Start Date: August/September

About the Role:

A leading educational institution is seeking a passionate Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to join their team. This role involves teaching and supporting students as they work towards achieving qualifications in carpentry and joinery. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons in carpentry and joinery.
• Prepare and assess student’s work, providing constructive feedback.
• Support students in their learning and personal development.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.

What We Are Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification in carpentry and joinery or equivalent.
• Relevant professional qualifications in carpentry and joinery.
• Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
• Experience in delivering education or training is preferred.
• Further education teaching qualifications are an advantage.
