Biology Teacher

• £32,000 – £48,000 (dependent on experience & qualifications)
• Full-time: Permanent (Part-time considered)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join a high-performing Sixth Form

You will deliver engaging and high-quality A-level Biology (and/or Level 3 Applied Science) to students, supporting them to achieve excellent outcomes and progress to university or employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver A-level Biology and/or BTEC Applied Science
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
• Monitor progress and provide targeted support
• Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
• Maintain accurate records in line with college and awarding body requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Biology or a related subject
• Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards
• Experience teaching Biology at A-level or Level 3
• Strong subject knowledge and passion for science
• Ability to motivate and inspire learners
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Enhanced DBS
