SEND Functional Skills Lecturer – West London

Help learners build skills they can use beyond the classroom.
From understanding a payslip to writing an email or budgeting for a weekly shop, Functional Skills teaching can make a real difference to learners’ confidence and independence.
Morgan Hunt is looking to connect with SEND Functional Skills Lecturers interested in upcoming opportunities within further education across West London.
The role
Typical responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging English and maths lessons to learners with SEND.
Adapting teaching and resources to different abilities and learning needs.
Using practical activities to connect learning with everyday situations.
Assessing progress and providing clear, encouraging feedback.
Working with support teams to help learners achieve their goals.
Maintaining accurate planning, assessment and progress records.
About you
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
Experience teaching Functional Skills English and/or maths.
Experience supporting learners with SEND, ideally within further education.
A teaching qualification, or are working towards one.
A flexible, patient approach to teaching.
The ability to make learning accessible while maintaining high expectations.
