Technical Demonstrator – Construction Multi-Skills

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Rate: £40 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Long-term Temporary

About the Role

• A Further Education College in Bury St Edmunds is looking for a Technical Demonstrator to support the delivery of Construction Multi-Skills programmes.
• You will work closely with teaching staff to support practical sessions, helping students develop their hands-on construction skills.
• The role will involve preparing materials and equipment, maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment, and providing practical support to students.
• This is a hands-on opportunity suited to someone with strong industry experience across multiple construction trades.

What we are looking for

• Strong practical experience within Construction Multi-Skills or a related construction trade.
• Experience working with students, apprentices or trainees within an educational or training environment is desirable.
• Good knowledge of workshop health and safety, tools, materials and practical construction techniques.
• A reliable, hands-on individual who can support learners and teaching staff effectively.
