Job Title: Media Lecturer

Location: Cheshire

Rate of Pay: £32-40 per hour

About the Role / Job Summary:

Macclesfield College is seeking a dedicated Media Lecturer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education of students in Media, focusing on Web Development, Media Games Art, and Animation. The successful candidate will engage with students at levels 2 and 3, utilizing industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, and Unity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in Media, focusing on Web Development and related fields.
• Prepare and implement engaging lesson plans and course materials.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development.
• Ensure compliance with educational standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
• Experience in teaching Media or related subjects.
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard software and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education Requirements:

• A degree in Media, Digital Arts, or a related field.
• Professional experience in the Media industry is preferred.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven experience in teaching at Further Education level.
• Experience with curriculum development and assessment.
• Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
