Plumbing Lecturer

Location: East London

Salary: £45,000- 47,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Start Date: As soon as possible

We are currently working with a well-established Further Education College in East London that is seeking a Plumbing Lecturer to join its Construction department on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging teaching across Plumbing programmes while helping learners develop the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in the industry.

The successful candidate will teach both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based theory, supporting learners from Level 1 through to Level 3.

About the Role

• Deliver high-quality Plumbing teaching across Levels 1 to 3
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons, practical activities, and assessments
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

What We’re Looking For

• Level 3 qualification in Plumbing
• Relevant industry experience within the Plumbing sector
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Passion for supporting and developing learners

Desirable

• Previous teaching, training, or assessing experience
• A recognised teaching qualification
• Experience working within Further Education or apprenticeship delivery
• Knowledge of current industry standards and best practice
