Curriculum Manager – Health & Social Care

The Role

As the Curriculum Manager for Health & Social Care, you will lead and manage curriculum planning, development, and delivery aligned with employer and industry needs, ensuring compliance with educational standards and enhancing student engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage curriculum planning, development, and delivery aligned with employer and industry needs.
• Line manage and mentor a team of teaching staff, promoting excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.
• Monitor course performance, drive continuous improvement, and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Deliver 7-12 hours of high-quality teaching weekly as a role model for the team.
• Work closely with stakeholders to enhance learner employability, including work placements and progression opportunities.

The Person

• Experience in curriculum management within further education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and industry partners.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) is desirable
• Substantial vocational experience in Health and Social Care and Childcare
• Relevant degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
• Proven success in teaching or training within the subject area.
• Experience working in Further Education (FE) or Higher Education (HE) is essential.
