Bricklaying Lecturer

About the Role

• We are currently working with a Further Education College in Surrey who are looking for an experienced Bricklaying Lecturer to join their Construction team on a long-term temporary basis.
• This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bricklayer or Brickwork professional looking to bring their industry knowledge into the classroom and help develop the next generation of construction professionals.
• You will deliver engaging practical and theory-based sessions, supporting learners to build their technical knowledge, practical skills and confidence.
• The role offers the chance to work within a supportive FE environment while making a genuine impact on learners progressing into the construction industry.

What we are looking for

• A Level 3 qualification in Bricklaying, Brickwork, Trowel Occupations or a relevant construction discipline.
• Strong practical Bricklaying experience and up-to-date industry knowledge.
• Previous teaching, training, mentoring or assessing experience is desirable, although experienced industry professionals looking to move into FE are encouraged to apply.
• A recognised teaching qualification is preferred, or a willingness to work towards one.
