Science Technician

Location: North London

Pay Rate: £23-25 per hour

Contract: Long-term Temporary

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Science Technician to join a supportive educational environment in North London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory experience or a strong scientific background to play a key role in supporting practical Science across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.

• Prepare, set up and test equipment and materials for practical Science lessons.
• Support teaching staff with demonstrations, experiments and practical activities.
• Maintain laboratories, equipment and stock levels to ensure a safe and effective learning environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including COSHH requirements, when handling chemicals and laboratory materials.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working as a Science Technician, Laboratory Technician or in a similar scientific environment.
• Good knowledge of laboratory equipment, practical procedures and health and safety.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach to supporting staff and students.
