Electrical Technician

Location: North London

Pay: £22 per hour

Contract: Long-Term Temporary

About the Role

We are working with an FE College in North London who are looking for an Electrical Technician to support their workshops and practical learning environments. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on electrical experience who is considering a move from industry into education, or for a recent graduate looking to build valuable practical experience within an FE setting.

  • Support lecturers and students during practical Electrical Installation sessions
  • Prepare, maintain and organise tools, equipment and materials for workshop activities
  • Ensure workshops are safe, well-equipped and ready for teaching
  • Assist with general workshop maintenance, stock control and equipment checks

What we are looking for

  • A relevant electrical qualification or practical experience within the electrical industry
  • Good knowledge of electrical tools, equipment and workshop procedures
  • An understanding of health and safety in a practical working environment
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn and interest in supporting students
