We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Computer Science Teacher to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary school on a short-term basis.

The role is to provide full-time cover for a period of approximately 2-4 weeks, supporting the school during a period of staff sickness. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Computer Science Teacher looking for a short-term assignment within a high-performing and well-regarded school.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across the school, maintaining a positive learning environment and ensuring students continue to make progress during the period of cover.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Computer Science across the required year groups.
• Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Support students to achieve their full potential.
• Assess and monitor student progress where required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Computer Science department.
• Follow the school’s policies and procedures throughout the assignment.

About You

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Computer Science Teacher who can quickly establish themselves within a school environment and provide consistent, high-quality teaching from day one.

You should have:

• Experience teaching Computer Science within a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A relevant teaching qualification such as QTS.
• A good understanding of the secondary Computer Science curriculum.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
• A professional and reliable approach.
