Interim Curriculum Manager – ESOL

About the Role

Our College client based in London are seeking a proactive and experienced Curriculum Manager to join their ESOL department. This role is essential for enhancing the educational journey of our diverse learners and ensuring the delivery of effective ESOL programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the ESOL curriculum to meet the needs of learners.
  • Ensure the quality of teaching and learning within the department.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to create engaging learning materials.
  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Manage departmental budgets and resources effectively.
  • Lead staff training and development initiatives.
  • Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
  • Engage with stakeholders to promote the ESOL program.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in a managerial role within an educational setting.
  • Track record of successfully implementing curriculum changes.
  • Experience working with diverse student populations.
  • Proven experience in curriculum development and management.
  • Strong understanding of ESOL educational practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion in education.
  • Relevant degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertTESOL).
  • Additional qualifications in ESOL or related areas are desirable.
