Job Title: Support Worker

About the Role / Job Summary:

We are dedicated to providing high-quality support services to individuals experiencing complex challenges, including homelessness, substance misuse, and mental health issues. As a Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients to lead fulfilling lives. You will be part of a compassionate team that focuses on empowering individuals and enhancing their well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to individuals in daily living activities.
  • Assist clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.

Qualifications:

  • Care Certificate or Diploma Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards)
  • Relevant certifications in social care or related fields.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous.

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in social care or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Compassionate and patient approach towards clients.
  • Previous experience in a support worker role or similar environment.
  • Experience working with diverse populations is a plus.
