Are you an experienced Law Lecturer looking for your next opportunity? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a respected Further Education College in Brighton for a passionate and knowledgeable Law Lecturer to join their dedicated team on a temporary full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students studying Law within a well-established Further Education college that is committed to delivering outstanding education and helping learners achieve their full potential.

The Role

As a Law Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons, helping students develop a strong understanding of key legal principles while preparing them for examinations and future progression into higher education or employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Law lessons across Further Education programmes.
• Plan and prepare engaging schemes of work and lesson materials.
• Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals.
• Participate in curriculum development and departmental meetings.
• Maintain accurate student records in line with college policies.

The Ideal Candidate

• A degree in Law or a closely related subject.
• Previous teaching or lecturing experience within Further Education, Higher Education or schools.
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent) is desirable, although experienced unqualified lecturers will also be considered.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for teaching and developing the next generation of legal professionals.
