Business Lecturer

We are currently working with a well-established Further Education College in Chichester that is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Lecturer to join its Business department on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire learners and deliver high-quality teaching across Business programmes within a supportive and forward-thinking college environment.

Whether you are an experienced FE lecturer or a qualified teacher looking to transition into Further Education, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to learners while working within a collaborative and student-focused department.

About the Role

• Deliver engaging and inspiring teaching across Business programmes, including BTEC and other vocational qualifications where applicable
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of a diverse range of learners
• Assess learner progress, provide timely feedback, and support students in achieving their qualifications
• Create an inclusive, positive, and motivating learning environment
• Contribute to curriculum planning, quality improvement, and departmental development

What We’re Looking For

• A degree or recognised qualification in Business or a related subject
• Experience teaching Business, ideally within a Further Education setting
• Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
• A passion for supporting learners to achieve their academic and career goals

Desirable

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Experience delivering BTEC Business or other vocational Business qualifications
• Experience teaching within a Further Education College
• Knowledge of current Business curricula and assessment requirements
