Morgan Hunt are recruiting a Maths Lecturer on a permanent contract delivering GCSE and Functional skills at an FE College in Cheshire for the new academic year in 2026

There are multiple positions available on a full or part time basis

Maths Lecturer

Basic Job Description

  • Start date: September 2026
  • Full time- 5 days a week – 37 hours per week
  • Teaching Maths GCSE and Functional skills
  • Teaching 16-18 year old learners on resits
  • £32,256 ~ £39,228 Per annum
  • FE College in Cheshire
  • Must have DBS on the update service
  • Must have experience of teaching GCSE and/ or functional skills Maths

Responsibilities of this role as a Maths Lecturer:

  • Working in the Maths Department, you will be working with a variety of learners and be expected to meet the College’s standards of work
  • Providing additional tutorial and pastoral support to students across the College as required
  • Delivering GCSE and Functional Skills Maths

    Requirements of this role as a Maths Lecturer:

  • A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent is essential
  • Experience of delivering the subject
  • Maths or similar related qualifications to degree level is essential
  • A current DBS on the update service
