Employer Engagement Officer in Construction

Location: Northampton

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Start Date: August/September

About the Role: A well-regarded institution in Further Education is seeking a motivated Employer Engagement Officer in Construction to join their team. This role is essential in building strong partnerships with local employers to enhance student learning and employability in the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with employers to secure work placements and promote construction programs.
• Support students with placement preparation, including CV writing and interview techniques.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in placement settings.
• Monitor and evaluate placement outcomes to improve future strategies.

What We Are Looking For:

• Relevant qualification or experience in a related field, with a degree preferred.
• Strong communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in employer engagement, education, or the construction industry.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and manage multiple priorities effectively.
