Carpentry Lecturer

Location: South East England

About the Role:

A leading training provider specialising in vocational education is currently seeking a dedicated Carpentry Lecturer to join their team. This role involves delivering high-quality training in carpentry to students, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their careers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective carpentry lessons to students.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Support students in achieving their qualifications and career goals.
• Contribute to the development of course materials and resources.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Carpentry or equivalent.
• Relevant vocational qualification in Carpentry.
• Teaching or training experience within the construction sector is desirable.
• Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, D32/D33/D34) or willingness to obtain.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS) is an advantage.

Experience Requirements:

• Proven industry experience in carpentry.
• Experience in delivering training or education is preferred.
