Chemistry Teacher – Sixth Form (Independent School)

Location: London

Salary: £43,000 – £58,000 per annum (dependent on experience & qualifications)

Contract: Full-time and Part Time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP and September 2026

The Opportunity

We are working in partnership with a highly prestigious Independent Sixth Form in London, to appoint an exceptional Chemistry Teacher. The Role

• Deliver engaging and high-quality A-Level Chemistry lessons
• Inspire and challenge high-achieving students to reach top university destinations
• Contribute to a culture of academic excellence and intellectual curiosity
• Support students through exam preparation and progression pathways
• Participate in wider academic enrichment where appropriate

What We’re Looking For

• Strong academic background in Chemistry or a closely related subject
• Proven experience teaching A-Level Chemistry
• Ability to stretch and challenge high-performing learners
• Excellent subject knowledge and classroom delivery
• A passion for education within an academically selective environment

• PGCE / QTS is not required
• Candidates from independent school or alternative teaching backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply
