Management Accountant
Management Accountant will be working for a large further and higher education provider in the West Midlands and Warwickshire, focused on delivering quality, flexible vocational training to around 11,000 students across multiple campuses.
They are looking for a reliable and organised Management Accountant to join their finance team.
The role
As a management accountant your role will be supporting the finance function by preparing management accounts, monitoring budgets and cash flow, and producing accurate financial reports.
It involves working closely with budget holders, maintaining financial systems, supporting audits and year-end accounts, and helping ensure effective financial control and planning across the organisation.
What you will be doing
· To be the Management Accountant for the College including budget maintenance and monitoring.
· Manage the College’s cash flow forecasting.
· Supervise the Assistant Management Accountant.
· Checking the financial systems are developed to improved efficiency.
· Maintain compliance with financial regulations and procedures.
Required skills and qualifications
· Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA / ICAEW)
· Experience in management accounts, budgeting and cash flow forecasting
· Strong Excel and financial systems skills
· Ability to work with budget holders and stakeholders
· Strong organisation skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
