The Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Carpentry lecturer to join our team.
You will be teaching students of varying abilities – from Level 1 to Level 2. You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager on the expansion and development of the department, helping us to deliver the highest quality education for every student.
With your valuable industry experience, you will help inspire the next generation of skilled experts, supporting people from all backgrounds to achieve their career and life ambitions.
You will also play a key role in promoting the courses across the Construction curriculum area, taking part in marketing events and sharing your experiences as a Carpenter.
Take part in the interviewing and induction of prospective students.
Provide on-going assessment and feedback to students by the timely setting and marking of
course-related work.

Requirements:
  • You will need a teaching qualification
  • An appropriate level qualification in the subject area
  • Relevant safeguarding and DBS qualifications
  • Experience outside of education, especially on relevant projects
