We are currently seeking an experienced Hair Lecturer to join our team at Peterborough College. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver engaging and impactful lessons to a diverse range of students, including apprentices and Level 1 to Level 3 learners, as well as those studying Barbering.

Role Title: Hair Lecturer

Campus: Peterborough College

Start Date: ASAP (ideally 19th January)

Hours & Timetable:

• Full-time hours: Monday-Thursday: 08:30-17:00, Friday: 08:30-16:30
• Teaching/contact hours: 24 hours per week, with the remaining time dedicated to administration

Levels & Qualifications:

• Hair: Teaching apprentices and Level 3 students
• Mix of Levels: Level 1, 2, 3 & Barbering Level 1-2
• Assessor qualification is mandatory (preferred over teaching qualifications)
• Delivery: A combination of theory and practical sessions

Pay: £35-40 per hour, based on experience

Key Requirements:

• Prior teaching experience, particularly with hairdressing and barbering students
• Assessor qualification is essential
• Strong practical and theoretical knowledge in hairdressing and barbering
• Passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential
