Morgan Hunt are currently working with a Healthcare Membership Organisation in their search for a temporary Deputy Programme Manager to support the delivery of a national clinical audit programme focused on improving the quality of care for people with eating disorders. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful healthcare improvement while managing a small, dedicated team within a respected quality improvement centre.

In this varied role, you will support the Programme Manager in planning, coordinating and delivering all phases of the National Audit of Eating Disorders. You’ll oversee day-to-day project operations, manage two Project Officers, and ensure data collection, validation and reporting processes are delivered to a high standard. You’ll also support the design and rollout of new audit cycles, data tools and methodologies, as well as preparing presentations and reports for a range of stakeholders including clinicians, governing bodies and individuals with lived experience.

The successful candidate will bring experience managing or coordinating complex projects or programmes, ideally within a healthcare, research or audit setting. You’ll be highly organised, confident managing staff, and comfortable working with data and information systems. An understanding of quality improvement or audit principles, along with experience using SPSS or similar analytical tools, will be highly advantageous.

Job Title: Deputy Programme Manager

Location: Hybrid – 2 days per week in London office (Wednesday & Thursday)

Rate: £175.00 – £200.00 per day (Umbrella)

Contract Type: Temporary (3 months, potential extension/permanency)

Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week)

Start Date: ASAP (Ideally 27 November 2025)

Key Responsibilities

· Support the Programme Manager in the planning, coordination and delivery of the National Audit of Eating Disorders.

· Line manage two Project Officers, providing supervision, guidance and task allocation.

· Oversee day-to-day audit operations, including data collection, validation and quality assurance.

· Support the development of new audit cycles, data collection tools and methodologies.

· Prepare presentations, papers and supporting materials for stakeholder meetings.

· Contribute to communication strategies, including website updates and dissemination of findings.

· Maintain accurate project documentation, trackers and timelines.

· Liaise with healthcare stakeholders, audit partners and governing bodies to support project delivery.

Candidate Profile

· Experience managing or coordinating complex projects or programmes, ideally within healthcare, research or audit.

· Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

· Experience line-managing or supervising staff.

· Understanding of audit or quality improvement methodologies.

· Confident in data management and analysis; experience with SPSS or similar tools desirable.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience presenting findings and supporting stakeholder meetings or workshops.

· Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).

· Proactive, collaborative and detail-focused approach.
