Morgan Hunt are pleased to be exclusively working with a Charity, based in Central London, to support them in recruiting a Finance Officer on a permanent basis. This role will be required to be in the office on average 1 day a week, with the rest working from home.

As the Finance Officer, you will work as part of a small finance team and be responsible for:

· Processing all income, including coding of income and banking cash and cheques weekly.

· Processing purchase ledgers invoices on Sage.

· Reconciliations of supplier statements.

· Preparation of BACS payment runs.

· Supporting with month end processes including; bank reconciliations, prepayments and accruals, restricted funds and income reconciliations and fixed assets.

· Support with the preparation for the year end audit.

· Support with finance administration tasks such as monitoring the finance inbox, handling phone queries and general enquires.

Our client is looking for someone that is AAT qualified or a part qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) accountant that has previously worked within a similar role within a Charity. Must have excellent organisation and administrative skills and a confident communicator across all levels of stake holders. They would ideally like someone that has experience of using Sage Cloud 50 but this is by no means essential.
