HR Advisor, Liverpool

We have an exciting opportunity available for a HR Advisor based in Liverpool. This is a permanent position, offers hybrid working and a salary of £32,000 p.a.

The HR Advisor will assist in providing a proactive and professional support service to management and employees on a wide range of employment and employee relations matters. Provide a positive image of the Organisation to its customers, employees, and other relevant outside bodies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general HR advice and assistance to managers, employees and Senior Leadership Team on people related issues.
  • Review and develop key HR policies, procedures, and documents
  • Manage any HR surveys, reviewing the survey questions, responding to queries, and ensuring high response rates.
  • Provide statistics and management reports on people related data to the Senior Leadership team on a monthly basis.
  • Facilitate exit interviews where required and provide feedback, produce statistical data to identify trends and issues raising concerns with the Head of HR.
  • Lead on specific ‘people’ issues, and projects, as allocated and supported by the Head of HR and the HR Manager, making recommendations for improvements and changes, where appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain HR information systems and KPIs including turnover, retention and absence levels
  • Deliver staff and managers’ briefings on HR policies and practices as required ensuring they understand and implement both existing and new HR policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Payroll & HR Advisor to ensure workforce information is kept up to date

Skills and Experience

  • First line HR Advice and support
  • ER casework – must have a solid understanding of employment law
  • Policy review and development
  • Reporting for senior management meetings
  • Assist with HR training sessions
  • Assist Head of HR with project work
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or studying towards (Level 3 as a minimum)
  • A DBS will be required for this role
  • Current Driving Licence. Access to a vehicle
